The secret way to a flat stomach is really to lose the fat covering the stomach muscles. We all have the muscles; we just have more or less fat covering them. In other words, watch what you eat and do your workout. I have given you a few different great belly exercises, but I thought I’d give you yet another one, for variation. And just because there are so many and they bring so much happiness to our workout! Right!? Okay, this one is not as hard to perform as it may sound like, but it will most definitively get the work done. Try it and you’ll feel it. Exercise: Leg lifts with rotation Affects: Several abdominal muscles, and abdominal oblique in particular Starting position: Lay down with your arms along the side for support, fingers pointing forward. Lift your feet up and bend your knees. Now, with your abdominal muscles, lift your butt and pelvis off the floor. When you have lifted straight up, rotate your butt and legs to the left, making your knees point to your right. Rotate back and come down to the starting position. Repeat, lift and rotate to your right this time, knees pointing to your left. Keep repeating this as many times as possible on each side.
