Happy Kat's Blog

My name is Katarina; I live in Sweden and work as site author here at Health to Happiness.

Healthy living is a passion of mine so that is exactly what I will write about in this blog; health, food and workout, (and of course a little about my everyday life and what goes on here at the office).

My ambition is to share inspiration, motivation, tips and information to all of you interested. If you have any thoughts or questions about the topics covered, don’t hesitate to write a comment and I will do my very best to answer you. On my free time I enjoy working out, painting, being around friends and family, shopping, reading and travelling.

Happy reading!

And another exercise...

Since you’re, after doing push-ups, are in the right position, I may as well show you another exercise for stability, chest, shoulders, back, abs and arms. Let me introduce a variant of "The Board" (mentioned in an earlier blog entry).

The moving board

Lay face down on the floor, with your hands palms down at shoulder level. Push up your body and create a straight line from your upper body to your heels. This is the starting position. Now gently lean down, one arm at the time until you are resting on your forearms. Your elbows should now be in line with your shoulders. Continue the movement and move up again, one arm at the time, until you have reached the starting position where you are a straight line from upper body to heels (see pictures below).
Remember to keep your back and legs straight and your belly tucked in through the whole movement.

Good Luck and keep moving until you can't hold a straight body anymore!
